I can’t tell you guys how much I love all the classic Disney songs especially the ones from movies that Alan Menken composed music for – Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, etc. LOVE them! There is something about Disney you just can’t help but love. In fact, Ev and I had our honeymoon at Disneyworld! We absolutely adore going and can’t wait to go again with Ash!
Helping Ev with her videos like the Evolution of the Disney Princess along with some other Disney covers that we have worked on together has made me excited to sing more Disney. So I asked my fanbase (YOU guys) what Disney song I should sing and this song was one of them, if not one of the most highly requested of the many Disney classics. So THANK YOU for allowing me to sing such a beautiful and powerful song!

I honestly think this is such an amazing song. I mean just take a look at the lyrics. It’s everything I stand for. I believe it is a message for everyone to hear! It should inspire us to never give up and to make our dreams come true!
As you will notice, I am walking and moving a lot in this video. While conceptualizing the video, I hoped to capture the idea of traveling and of moving forward so that you could visualize the progression of the song. This sort of progression can be a metaphor for many things, but primarily for the thought that “I will move forward, I won’t give up, until I see my dreams come to pass! I will go the distance!” (Sounds cheesy, but c’mon we can’t let even cheese stand in our way!)
Ev and I are thinking of putting together an entire Disney album, not this year, but maybe/hopefully next year. What do you think about that?
