Sound of Silence
One of the many reasons why I love this song, is the first time Simon & Garfunkel released it in 1964, it totally flopped. In fact, the album only sold 2,000 copies. Can you believe that?! They re-released it and now, it’s one of the most iconic American folk songs. I’m sharing this with you because it resonated with me and y’all requested it over 3,000 times in the last two months! (Also I know lots of you fell in love with this song from the recent Disturbed cover) It reminded me of all the times I failed on this music journey and kept working at it. That’s why I’m working hard on developing an academy to share with you all the knowledge I’ve gained over the years pursuing my dream so you too can become a creator. In the meantime, what more can I say about Tim Foust?! I’m always blown away by the talented artists I get to work with. Tim just nails this one, as he always does. We really had a great time putting this together for you. (And trying to keep a straight face at times!) Can’t wait to hear what you think of it!
