Two of my favorite things in this world are singing with other people and working with them in artistic ways. Collaboration is one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for digital creators to pull their resources together and depend on each other for support! I have worked with some of the most talented people I know, and I learn something new every time I collaborate.

I’m going to be singing with as many Hollens Family members as possible, and I simply cannot wait!! This group song of sorts is in celebration of reaching a past goal on Patreon. The Dawn Will Come (from Dragon Age Inquisition) is a song that has been highly requested by my supporters for years. I began making moves to use this song as a collaboration piece with my patrons about 2 years ago… It has been a long time coming, and it took some trial and error for my team and I to figure out exactly how to facilitate it. However, the time has come, and I’m currently accepting video and audio of the Hollens Family singing, via a submission form that they gain access to after signing up to be a patron.
As I write this blog post, there are over 150 submissions from my patrons for our collab video! How crazy is that? I had no idea how many submissions to expect when I was putting this whole thing together, but I have to say that I’m thrilled with the turn out so far. I am blown away by how excited my patrons have been about this, and I have been fortunate enough to have hundreds of new patrons join me on Patreon in the past month to take part in this initiative. My heart is full with gratitude, and I feel absolutely honored to be able to collaborate directly with the people that enjoy my music the most! There are so many incredibly talented people that follow my work, and I finally get to feature all of them in my art!
The music video for this collaboration will be released within the next month or so. As I weave together all of the submissions, I am still accepting new ones!

You don’t need any fancy recording equipment or a professional camera to get involved! You don’t even have to be a singer to join in! You can just move your mouth along to the lyrics or do a speak-whisper sort of thing if you’d like. That way you can still be in the music video! It would mean the world to me if you participated, in whatever way is easiest for you. You can use your phone camera, a webcam… Whatever works! What I care about most is just having the Hollens Family represented in the video! 🙂 The entry deadline is July 14th at 11:59pm PST.
